The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued another strong warning ahead of the 2027 general election, stating that removing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu could have serious political consequences for several influential figures across the country.
Speaking during a recent address, the cleric claimed that if President Tinubu is “mistakenly removed” from office through the 2027 election, many powerful individuals, including some state governors, may eventually face imprisonment.
According to Ayodele, several politicians and top government officials who are currently benefiting from Tinubu’s administration could become vulnerable if there is a major political change at the federal level; He suggested that the current political structure has protected certain individuals from legal troubles and investigations.
The outspoken cleric further warned political actors against making decisions that could destabilize the country’s leadership, insisting that Nigeria’s political future remains delicate ahead of the next election cycle.
