The National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is under lock and key due to leadership crisis rocking the party.
Gfhnews gathered that the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had ordered the police command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to seal off the party’s secretariat on Tuesday to restore peace in the party.
Before secretariat was sealed ,police officers were sighted driving APC staff and newsmen out of the party’s premises while the APC acting National Secretary, Malam Waziri Bulama, drove in.
After Bulama was sighted speaking with the leader of the police team, he drove out of the party’s secretariat.
However, newsmen, food vendors and party stakeholders were later seen outside of the party’s premises carrying out their activities and businesses.
Reacting, the Police Public Relations Officer (FPRO) in the FCT, DSP Anjuguri Manzah confirmed the incident and added that the step was to forstal breakdown of law and order
