BREAKING: Police arrest six for hacking telecoms firm

A 58-year-old man, Michael Oritudafila on Friday, appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, over alleged false information.

Oritudafila, whose address was not provided, is being tried on a  charge of giving false information, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The Prosecutor, Insp Samuel Owolabi told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 24, 2025, at police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan.

Owolabi alleged that the defendant gave the police false information that one Pastor Adekunle Obasa and his family stole his 250 blocks and also threatened his life.

The Magistrate, Mrs Gladys Olanrewaju granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
