Ajia Urges Christians to Pray for Nigeria, Leaders, Security at Christmas

Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, Ph.D, Dan Amanan Fune Emirate and President/CEO of Funab Group of Companies Ltd, has called on Christians in Kwara State and across Nigeria to use the sacred occasion of Christmas to pray fervently for the country, its leaders, and for divine intervention in the nation’s security challenges.

In a Christmas message signed by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan, and made available to journalists in Abuja, Ajia described the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ as a season rich in the virtues of love, sacrifice, peace, humility, and hope, stressing that these values are urgently needed in Nigeria at this critical time.

He urged the Christian faithful to dedicate the season to prayers for Nigeria and Nigerians, asking God Almighty to intervene positively in the affairs of the nation and to grant the country lasting peace and stability.

According to him, Christians should also remember the nation’s leaders in their prayers, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, and courage to enable them to govern with fairness, compassion, and a sincere commitment to national unity and development.

Ajia specifically called for prayers for God’s deliverance of Nigeria from the yoke of insecurity, noting that peace and security remain fundamental to national growth, economic progress, and the overall wellbeing of citizens.

He further emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and religious tolerance among Nigerians, regardless of faith or ethnic background. He noted that Nigeria’s strength lies in its unity in diversity, and called on citizens to use the Christmas season to promote love, kindness, and support for the less privileged.

The business leader expressed optimism that with collective prayers, renewed moral values, and shared goodwill, Nigeria would overcome its current challenges and move steadily towards a future of peace, stability, and prosperity.

Ajia wished Christians in Kwara State and across the country a joyful Christmas celebration and prayed that the season would bring renewed hope, strong faith, and abundant blessings to families nationwide.
