A 52 year-old private security guard Dako Aaron, a resident of Olanrewaju Street, Okokomaiko has been arrested for allegedly having carnal knowledge of a 13 year old girl (name withheld), by the operatives of Okokomaiko Police Station.
He is alleged to have dragged his victim into his security post on two different occasions, first on 2nd February, 2020 and again on 12th March, 2020 before when he was caught in the act.
The victim was taken to the hospital for forensic examination and medical treatment while the suspect has been arrested and transferred to the Gender Unit for investigation and possible prosecution.
It was gathered from the records available that the suspect is an habitual paedophile, who was last charged to Court on 22nd February, 2017 for allegedly raping a minor.
The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu speaking on the incidence, used the occasion to advise parents to beware of paedophiles preying on their children during this lockdown period.
