That Ogunlewe Television outburst

Support South-East APC Presidency Project 2023 to sensitize, mobilize millions of our eligible voters to register to vote in 2023

Dr Chinedu Jideofo-Ogbuagu,

So Mr Ogunlewe, a known regular anti-Igbo bigot, thinks that the Igbo cannot produce President of Nigeria in 2023 because, according to him, “Ndigbo are not united” – a usual lazy and unintelligent gibberish by every Igbophobe.

It really would be a waste of our time to respond to Mr Ogunlewe’s foolishness, and we are glad that Chief Olabode George immediately dismissed Mr Ogunlewe’s hateful statement in his own television interview.

Instead of engaging Mr Ogunlewe in any kind of verbal exchange, we think that the South-East geopolitical zone (where over 80% of Ndigbo come from) should answer Mr Ogunlewe by proving that Ndigbo are not divided the way he imagined.

On APC platform, South-East APC Presidency Project 2023 has finally settled for Distinguished Senator Ken Nnamani, GCON as our 2023 presidential aspirant/candidate.

Ndigbo of South-East, South-South, South-West, North-Central, North-East and North-West (and we don’t just mean Igbo individuals bearing Igbo and Christian-sounding names) should rally round Senator Ken Nnamani.

If every Tom, Dick and Harry of Igbo extraction comes out to contest for President of Nigeria, particularly on APC platform, Ogunlewe and his fellow Igbo haters would mock us.

Beyond mocking us for not supporting one person to contest for President of Nigeria of South-East extraction on APC platform, more than one presidential aspirant on APC platform would divide Igbo votes and the votes of at least 90% of other Nigerians who have decided that President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor should come from the South-East for equity, security, peace, unity and prosperity of Nigeria and all Nigerians.

South-Easterners (and Ndigbo by extension) should dismiss Mr Ogunlewe’s irresponsible outburst with actions and not mere words by rallying round Ken Nnamani-for-President on APC platform at least.

After Senator Ken Nnamani has won the APC presidential primary election, we shall engineer another Igbo unity – inter-party unity on the APC presidential candidate of South-East extraction.

Dr. Chinedu Jideofo-Ogbuagu, is the
National Coordinator,
South-East APC Presidency Project 2023.
