Wrestling lovers will have the opportunity to watch the world’s biggest WWE Clash of Champions 2020 on GOtv, Sunday, 4th of October at 1pm on Select 2 (ch 34).
The WWE’s Clash of Champions is a night with several mouthwatering clashes where every championship title is on the line.
A total of nine fights are scheduled for the event, which takes place at the WWE ThunderDome inside Orlando’s Amway Center, Florida.
The headline contest of the night is Drew McIntyre versus Randy Orton in an Ambulance match for the WWE Championship.
Randy Orton who boasts of a myriad of championship title reigns is determined in demolishing his way to a 14th World Champion reign, but Drew McIntyre, first British WWE World Champion keeps stepping right back into his path.
After the duo’s excellent SummerSlam bout, McIntyre and Orton will battle each other on Sunday.
To kick off the Clash of Champions event is the WWE Raw Women’s Championship, between Asuka and Zelina Vega.
Vega showed off her potential in a gritty win over Mickie James on Raw to earn the title showdown with Asuka on the WWE Clash of Champions Kickoff Show.
Vaga took to her Instagram page on Tuesday and said her goal is to become the WWE women’s champion.
“I have one goal and that’s to become the @wwe #RAW women’s champion and prove that I am way more than people think.
They said “she could never win a match” DID THAT. “She’ll never become #1 contender. DID THAT! “She’ll never become a champion.” ….I WILL do that. And I will enjoy every single second of licking up all of your angry tears when it’s done” she boasted.
Meanwhile, Asuka shined in a win over a legendary competitor in James but will now face a challenge from an incredibly hungry Superstar in Vega. Can Asuka continue her dominance on the red brand or will Vega show the WWE Universe what she is capable of by claiming the Raw Women’s Title?
Also, at Clash of Champions, Roman Reigns will defend the Universal Championship against Jey Uso. Other big matches for the night are the triple threat ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship between Jeff Hardy, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles, the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match between the Street Profits Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford vs. Andrade and Angel Garza and the WWE United States Championship match between Bobby Lashley against Apollo Crews.
The SmackDown Women’ Championship, Bayley will also be in action at Clash of Champions when she defends her Title against Nikki Cross. Another fascinating contest includes the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, as Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler put their titles on the line against The Riott Squad.
