” I will use my wealth of experience to bring speedy development to PCRC”, says Abuluya
The National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC) , Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, has commended Mr David Abuluya, the Chairman, PCRC Nasarawa State Chairman over his purposeful leadership in the state.
He also has urged Nigerians to support the Nigeria Police Force in enhancing security nationwide.
Olaniyan made the appeal during the inauguration of the officials of PCRC Nasarawa State officials at Golden Dabis Hotel in Keffi.
It would be reported that the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Nasarawa State Command, celebrated its 41st anniversary alongside the inauguration of its executives at the state, Area Command, and Divisional levels.
He said that the PCRC was formed to bridge the socio-psychological gap between the police and the public while soliciting public information to control crime and foster collaboration.
Olaniyan, emphasized the police system’s role in crime prevention, detection, law preservation, and urged the new officials to partner with relevant agencies to achieve success.
On his part, the Nasarawa State PCRC Chairman, Mr Mandy David Abuluya, pledged to use his wealth of experience to create synergy with community leaders and stakeholders to reduce crime rates in the state.
Abuluya, who is also the Founder, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, Nasarawa State appreciated the members of the association for the confidence reposed in him and promised to discharge his duties with the fear of God.
” We will focus our duties to those areas that are proned to security.
” We will achieve this through the support of our stakeholders and other people “.
” As the importance of unity and peace to societal development could not be overemphasized,” he said
Abuluya, who is also the President , Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide assured of his continued commitment to initiate different policies and programmes that would promote unity and peace in the state.
Mr Ibrahim Babayo, Vice Chairman of PCRC and former Chairman of Friends of Police, welcomed the merger, expressing confidence that it would yield positive results.
“We collapsed friends of police to PCRC because they operate the same objectives, we want to ensure safety of our people particularly in schools across the rural areas. We need support”.
On his part, Associate Prof. Hauwa’u Mainoma, Deputy National Chairman (North), commended Nasarawa State for joining PCRC and expressed optimism about improved security.
It would be further reported that the ceremony featured the administration of the oath of office to the newly PCRC executives, marking a new chapter in strategic leadership and collective responsibility for advancing peace and security.
