The Proprietress, Deenfield International Academy, Hajiya Binta Ibrahim, has advised teachers to instill principles and values in pupils while they are younger.
Ibrahim made the call during the school’s second graduation and prize giving day, on Saturday in Abuja.
She said that students transferring from other schools usually experience some challenged in adjusting but with capable hands in the school, they were able to adjust.
The proprietress expressed happiness on the progress the school was making, adding that they hope to do better in the future.
“We started very small with about three students but we have been able to integrate smoothly as you can see today, she said.
Ibrahim commended the parents for their support to the school in spite of the economic challenges in the country.
She urged the parents to involve themselves more in the school activities.
The Chairman, Parents and Teachers Association (PTA), Alhaji Suleiman Yaro, commended the management and staff of the school for their unwavering support and guidance towards the graduands.
He also lauded the families of the graduating students for their sacrifices and crucial roles played in shaping the students.
Yaro congratulated the graduating class of 2024, and acknowledged their commitment to excellence, thirst for knowledge and passion for learning.
“The knowledge and skills you have acquired at Deenfield International Academy, will serve as a strong foundation in your future endeavors,” he said.
Mr Aminu Takur, a parent, advised the school to maintaining standard of education in the school.
He encouraged other parents who live around the area to enroll their children and wared in the school.
Miss Hanifah Aminu, the Best graduating student, said she was happy graduating from the primary although she still had a lot of things awaiting her.
“I advise my fellow students to keep working harder, they should try their best to get to the top of the class wherever they are going and they should never get in trouble, she said.
Aminu added that she hope to become a surgeon in future.
