Isieke village Alor in Idemili South council area was thrown into mourning following the sudden departure of Late Mr Patrick Akabueze who was a brother to the Clark of Nigeria Senate Hon Chinedu Akabueze.

According to tradition, the funeral service was conducted on 14th September 2023 by the family as people from all works of life honoured the invitation to pay last respect to the deceased and condolences to the bereaved family.

Hon Emeka Nnebe was not left out as he arrived Alor in the company of His Excellency, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu, Deputy Governor of Abia State and Mr Ernest Ezeajugh Chief of Staff to the Governor of Anambra state to express sympathy and support to the family.

Speaking during the burial ceremony, Nnebe, a former SA to Anambra State Governor and Founder Ufuma Ambassador, Leader Emeka Ufuma Political Movement noted that death is not just an inevitable end, but a transition of the human spirit to the realm of everlasting life, adding that the way people lived their lives determines what happens once they were no more.

“It is unfortunate that Patrick is no more with us today, yet I am confident that he will be happy wherever he is considering the number of people trooping in and out to share love, respect and admiration for the good memories and relationship they had with him over the years.

“Do not weep as though there is no hope because we live and die so that we can become the components of everlasting cycle because our fate in life depends on the purpose of God Almighty.

“May His everlasting grace abide with this family, friends and well wishers who has gathered to commiserate with the bereaved at this point of his glorious transition” Emeka Ufuma stated.

Hon Chinedu Akubueze expressed gratitude to God for guiding them through the funeral arrangements and sincere appreciation to everyone who found time to identify with the family, while praying God to grant them journey mercies to their various destinations.

Other prominent personalities that attended the burial service were: Mr Tochukwu Nnadi (Fidelity Bank Awka), Chief Obiora Austin, Mr Paul Chuks (Award ) former Chriman APC Aguta Local Government, among others too numerous to mention.
