Mustapha Shaba Ibrahim became the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in the entire Egbura Miyyakan Tribe consisting Koton Karfe, Abaji and Toto after his conferment with the rank on Monday 28, 2022 at the youthful age of 43.
He is also the first SAN in Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency and the first in his ABU Class of 2004.
In an interview, he said he was elated and most humbled to have been among the selected few who have been honoured with the rank.
Mustapha who was very happy thanked the Almighty for allowing him witness this day and also thanked his friends and family for for their unending support.
He specifically thanked his wife, Amina for her love, words of encouragement, support and patience, saying being the wife an advocate required loads of patience.
Mustapha started his formal education at the Air Force primary school, Illorin, attendted GSS Ilorin, Barewa College Zaria, and then got his West African School Certificatethe from Federal Government College, kwalli Abuja in 1996.
He then proceeded to the School of Premilary Studies, Keffi, now Nasarawa State University, NSUK, where he got his IJMB.
In 2004, Mustapha obtained his LL.B from Ahmadu Bello University, and then moved to the Nigerian Law School where obtained his BL in 2005.
During his NYSC in the Bureau of Public Enterprises, he got a Certificate in Legal Aspect in Debt Management with the UN Training and Research Institute.
The new SAN also has also many certificates obtained in the course of his advocacy which, he chose not to disclose.
Mustapha who is also passionate about football said he is equally passionate about his family and would never compromise his family for anything.
Popularly Known as Shaba Adi, Ibrahim SAN, hails from Koton Karfe in kogi state, from the very popular family of Alhaji Kaka Ibrahim.
The last born of his mother, he is a happily married man with three children.
