National Park Service elevates 799 officers

The National Park Service has elevated 799 deserving officers across the seven unit Parks in the Country to various ranks.             

In a ceremony to decorate some of the newly promoted officers at the National Park Service Headquarters, the Conservator-General, Dr Ibrahim Goni congratulated the officers and charged them to employ greater professionalism, dedication and loyalty in the discharge of their duties.

The CG with the newly decorated ACGs their spouses and other ACGs.

He said that the management of the Service recognises the importance of the welfare of the personnel in stimulating higher productivity.

He stressed that regular promotion, and the training of personnel on the different aspects of Park operations are some of the key areas the Service places premium on to deliver on its mandate.

The C-G also used the occasion to appreciate the commitment of the Park Service Governing Board in ensuring that the Service meets its organizational goals, especially as it concerns staff welfare.

The CG decorating ACG Cornelius Oladipo assisted by ACG Dr Agboola Okeyoyin.

Among the newly promoted officers are Conservators of (CP) Martin Omole, Inwong Fingesi and Cornelius Oladipo who moved to the rank of Assistant Conservator-General (ACG).
