While alive, they made billions. But even in death, they are making much more. According to 2021 rankings by Forbes, these eight famous singers still earn billions of years after their death:

1. Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson

The singer, dancer, and songwriter died of cardiac arrest in June 2009, It has been years since his death and still earns yearly.

He was the highest-paid dead or alive celebrity of the year in 2016 after he earned $825 million. In 2021, he earned $75 million according to Forbes.

2. Jarad Anthony Higgins

Jarad

Higgins better known for his stage name Juice WRLD, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He died of drugs overdose in 2019 at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. He earned $15 million in 2021.

3. Bing Crosby

Bing

Bing Crosby was an American singer and actor who died of heart attack in October 1977. He was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of his time worldwide.

More than four decades have passed since his death and he is also still earning. He earned $33 million in 2021.

4. Bob Marley

Bob Marley

The legendary singer died in 1981 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

He earns money after years of his death. He as well appeared multiple times on Forbes ranking of highest paid dead celebrities. His earning in 2021 was $ 16 million.

5. Luther Vandross

Luther

Luther Vandross was an American record producer, singer, and songwriter who died of stroke in July 2005. Years have passed since his death and he is also still earning. He earned $21 million in 2021.

6. Elvis Aaron Presley

Elvis

Elvis Aaron Presley was a popular American singer and actor who made waves back in the 1960s and 70s.

He was called the King of rock and roll back in his time. He passed away in August 1977 due to heart disease. Four decades after his death, he still earned $30 million in 2021.

7. Prince Rogers Nelson

Nelson

Prince Rogers Nelson was a famous American singer, multi- instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer and actor who died in April 2016 due to an accidental overdose of fentanyl.

He earned $120 million in 2021.

8. John Lennon

John

John Lennon was a famous British musician, songwriter and peace activist who died of gunshot wounds back in December 1980 after he was shot four times by a fan.

It has been years since he died and he is still making money. He earned $12 million in 2021.
