The Emir of Kajuru, Alhaji Alhassan Adamu, has regained freedom from his abductor.
The Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the development on Monday, in Kaduna.
Jalige said that the emir was now in his palace.
According to him, the second class traditional ruler was released this evening.
The emir was kidnapped with 10 members of his family in the early hour of Sunday, in Kajuru town of Kajuru Local Government Area.
He said details of the incident would be communicated in due course.
