A member of the Nasarawa state house of Assembly representing Nasarawa Central state constituency, Hon.Ismail Danba, has been kidnapped.
Chairman Nasarawa state house of Assembly committee on information, Hon.Mohammed Omadefu, confirmed the development on Sunday.
He said the kidnappers ambushed and whisked the lawmaker away around forest, in Sanga local government of Kaduna state.
He explained that Danbaba was kidnapped on Saturday evening while traveling to Jos, Plateau state for an official function.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Nasarawa state command ASP Nansel Ramhan declined comment.
“I will not talk about this because is out of my jurisdiction,” he said.
Also, when contacted, the PPRO Kaduna state command ASP Mohammed Jalige, said, “so far, the command had no received any complain or information about that, but they are in contact with their tactical unit if their any development he let us know.
