Gov.Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has approved the constitution of a task force on the establishment of Citizenship and leadership training centre in Boltongo Yamaltu/Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State.

This is contained in a press statement issued by Ismaila Misilli, Director General Press Affairs Government House, Gombe to newsmen on Friday.

Misilli said that the  members of the task force included  the Chairman,  AIG Zubairu Mu’azu (rtd), CP Stephen Aruwa (rtd), Col. Sani Dapsia (rtd), Maj. Musa Mahdi and Mr Geoffrey Birma.

He added that Mr Mohammed Yunusa and Mrs Shipra Paloma,  Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth Development as the Secretary were among the members of the task force.

He said the committee was saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the immediate take off of the centre.

“To under study similar institutions across the country with a view to ensuring the smooth take off as well as design the requirements for the establishment of the centre,” he said.

According to him, the governor approved the constitution of taskforce for the take off of Agricultural Entrepreneurship Training Centre at Garin -Tafida also in Yamaltu/Deba LGA with Professor Umaru Gurama as Chairman.

Others are Dr Ayuba Kinafa, Mohammed Ishaq, Mahmood Bello, Unwukeme Guericle, Principal Leventis Foundation Tumu,Mr Obel Yaji Permanent Secretary Ministry of Agriculture as the Secretary.

He noted that the terms of reference of the taskforce was to ensure the immediate take off of the institution and suggested the necessary framework for its takeoff.
