The head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua has denied the viral tweets that claimed he had gone to the mountain to pray coronavirus.
Joshua who made the denial in his church twitter handle on Sunday said he went to the mountain to rest.
“I went to the mountains just to have a rest; many prefer to be in an atmosphere of technology in this modern day but I chose to be in an atmosphere of nature.
“ I regularly go to the mountain to rest instead of being in the atmosphere of technology,’’ he re-emphasied.
He said that though any place can be a prayer mountain, it all depends on the state of the person’s heart.
“Our heart is the prayer mountain; it is our prayer room.
While answering questions on how to get God’s word into the hearts of men, he stated that one must be carried along by the holy spirit
‘First of all, we need to know what the Bible is, irrespective of the publisher.
He said that these days people pray without any attention to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
“If you are to read the Bible, you must be carried along by the Holy Spirit but nowadays, we read the Bible without any regard to the Holy Spirit.
“Before you read the Bible, you need to seek the attention of the Holy Spirit because the Bible is the tool in the hands of the Holy Spirit.’’
