A 30 year-old man, Dona Asogbo has been apprehended in an uncompleted building which is believed to have been turned into a ritualists den at Panuse area in Okoafo community of the state.
The suspect was arrested by a team of Police officers who stormed the scene on Sunday morning. The police said the activities of suspect and his accomplice, who is on the run, had instilled fear and panic within the community.
The items recovered from the uncompleted building included a coffin, with some fetish materials.
Bala Elkana DSP, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest, and stated that some residents of Panuse area, Okoafo, reported that one Dona Asogbo, 30, and Peter Alogbo had turned an uncompleted building in the community into a ritualists den.
Meanwhile, the principal suspect, Dona Asogba, was arrested while his partner took to his heels, as a mini sized wooden coffin and all sorts of fetish items were recovered from the shrine.
